dont trekkies hate being called that? and why arent star wars geeks called warsies? not a huge fan of either (closest i have is the family guy spoof blue harvest on dvd)...and if i'm not mistaken, this is a re tread of the original, so not much in the way of effects or whatever.
seems to me we should be going forward, not backwards, no? then again, i hate "period piece" films anyway, except for brotherhood of the wolf. lets get futuristic on yo' ass and move forward to the way the earth should be represented, in a luscious super green shangri-la and not the dystopic version presented in bladerunner...i want more high-tech, f*#ker. |
