Danny Boyle's outstanding UK pseudo-zombie flick 28 DAYS LATER was a terrifying tale that seemed fairly self-contained... that is until Fox Atomic decided it was time for a sequel!
28 WEEKS LATER picks up a few months (hey, nobody told me there would be math on this job!) after the events that turned much of England's population into rage-infected fleet-footed murdering lunatics. Survivors have more or less been cleared out of Ol' Blighty, so in come the Americans to help "fix" the shattered country... and manage to cock it up royally. USA is #1!!!
The flick opens May 11, and here's a look at the new haz-mat inspired poster. The trailer arrives with Fox Atomic's other sequel THE HILLS HAVE EYES 2. Hope y'all got strong stomachs!

Robert Carlyle (aka TRAINSPOTTING's Begbie) was offered a role in the original, but shows up in the sequel instead. He's a fookin' maaaadman.
