I just read on bloody-disgusting.com that is not a remake at all, but a sequel to the third film (takes place 20 years after the Robocop program is shut down). |

you psychos support this madness? look, i love Aranofsky as much as any other schmoe, but this is a horrible idea. remaking RoboCop in the first damn place is a horrible idea. yes, the series went to shit after one, but there was no damn reason to make it a series in the first place. RoboCop still stands as a brilliant send-up of 80's action cinema, and is one of the more quotable movies of that era. do not fuck with Veerhoven's gem. Aronofsky should know better. |

His fresh idea's usually include changing the main character and original story drastically and adding his own version to it and Robocop would be just fine the way it is. |
