Hey all, am at the SITGES FILM FESTIVAL right now doing my thing and while I was sitting downstairs with some peeps I overheard a conversation that had my genre friendly ears perk up in attention. Seems that there's a sequel to 28 DAYS LATER and 28 WEEKS LATER coming our way and its called 28 MONTHS LATER. 

Now I kind of knew about that already but mention it here for those who may not know. The scoop I caught was that a director has been chosen for this second installment. Who? PAUL ANDREW WILLIAMS baby! The UK director of THE COTTAGE (Read our review of it here). So there you have it! The 28 MONTHS LATER wheels are in motion! Arrow out!

I love the "28 (insert timeframe here)" movies, but hate the shakey-cam that come with them. Hopfully that can be toned down.

I want Months to happen,but The Cottage sucked,and IDK if the director is the right choice.

That is definitely good news. The Cottage kicked ass and the 28 Days/Weeks movies are really starting to grow on me. I'm looking forward to this.

It's a gamble (I haven't seen THE COTTAGE, but I've heard good things), as it was with Juan Carlos Fresnadillo at first, but 28 WEEKS LATER was a major success--to me it was at LEAST as good as the first one--so we'll see.

I just saw 28 weeks later today for the first time (I know quite late) and I had the hunch that a sequel should be coming out and good thing it did, there's a lot of grounds 28 months can cover, hope it turns out much to everyone expectations, can't wait to for a trailer.
