Whiteout delayed again

We've got more news of the "delayed release" variety, this time regarding the long-awaited Kate Beckinsale thriller, WHITEOUT. At one time meant to be released THIS September, then next April, it now has a September 11 2009 date. Multiple date changes + a mid-September dump = things are not looking up for this snowbound chiller...
Dominic Sena (SWORDFISH) sat in the director's chair for this one, about A U.S. Marshall who goes to Antarctica to investigate a murder only days before the continent will be consumed by darkness for six months. The flick also stars Tom Skerritt, Gabriel Macht and Alex O'Loughlin. But obviously, Beckinsale is the draw, but we're going to have to wait a long while before seeing her in her winter duds... That's okay, I much prefer her lookin' the way she does below.
