Strike Back below!

Well, I guess the cat's out of the bag. At this point, I think it's common knowledge that a certain Governator makes a cameo appearance - sort of - in the new TERMINATOR flick, which is only days away. The Korean site nocutnews somehow got their hands on a very cool image showing off some nifty CG magic, which you can see above. Obviously, that's a digitally altered Arnie, looking quite a bit younger than he does nowadays. You can kinda tell it's not really him in the top image, but it's convincing enough to satisfy us diehard TERMINATOR fans.

I'm also digging Helena Bonham Carter's look, which is worth reposting. Check it out below.

n the highly anticipated new installment of The Terminator film franchise, set in post-apocalyptic 2018, Christian Bale stars as John Connor, the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet's operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.

Spilled Blood: What do you guys think of the CG Arnie? Cool shite, or should they have just left him out of it..?

Hey Fenrir!
The T-800 is not in the film for long, just one scene. And they kind of avoid his face once established... the bit still works though.

I dont know... I'm hip for sure. He looks tough. He looks like in the original, except Kickinger's body looks even bigger than Arnold in 1984 (hard to tell, but the shoulders are huge). I guess we have to see him moving around to pass a judgment. Arrow may tell us... how does he look in motion and how long is he in the flick?

Hell Yeah
I think it's a great throw-back to the franchise, and would be a shame to NOT have Arnold (CG or otherwise) in the new film. He looks like his badass 1984 self, I just hope it looks believable on screen... and not like a CG Arnold. The big question now is... will the CG Arnold talk?
