FEAR ITSELF (COMPLETE FIRST SEASON) - September 15th
I'm not sure why this series didn't catch on. It featured cool guest directors like Darren Lynn Bousman, and even Brandon "Superman" Routh showed up for a round. The stories were creepy, and most of all, it was something 'new.' Maybe that's why it failed. That, or it's crappy time slot. Whatever... now you can check it out in all of it's glory on DVD. But wait, why does it say Complete First Season and not simply Complete Series? Is there more on the way? Let the conspiracy theories begin!
The Goods:
CLIVE BARKER'S BOOKS OF BLOOD - September 22nd
With Clive Barker's named slapped on the cover featuring a dude with bloody scars and writing all over his body, what's not to look forward to here? I dug the source material, and I'm looking forward to seeing whether they were able to pull it off or not. Word around the street is that it's pretty good... and if it sucks, at least it can say its cover rocked the house. Good shit, yo!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME - October 13th
If this doesn't breathe, smell, or radiate awesome, I don't know what does. The cover is kickin' it old school, and it's the return of one of the awesome 80s slasher flicks in a special edition. And get this... it's being released not because it has a remake hitting theaters anytime soon. You don't see that everyday, do ya? I can't wait to relive the magic, especially so close to Halloween. Kick-ass!

THE HAUNTED AIRMAN –October 13th – Because you needed to see Robert Pattinson in something else that looks nothing like TWILIGHT from the cover. Right.
CHILD'S PLAY (Blu-ray) – September 15th – Because who doesn't want to see Chucky's scariest adventure to date in glorious High Def?
THE HANNIBAL LECTER COLLECTION (Blu-ray) - September 15th – Because nothing tastes better with fave beans and a nice Chianti than Hannibal Lecter on Blu-ray!
