NIGHT WATCHER - November 3rd
Have you ever seen the Keanu Reeves horror flick THE WATCHER? Don't. It's horrible. And yet NIGHT WATCHER looks surprisingly similar. Same hooded figure. There's a video camera involved. But I will say this--this poster art is better. Not by a lot, mind you, but enough to think that maybe this flick won't suck as much ass as the Reeves version. Then again, it's called NIGHT WATCHER, and this dude is chillin' out in plain daylight. What the heck?
The Goods:
TRAIN - November 17th
The long awaited remake/rehash/redo of NIGHT TRAIN is finally deaded to DVD a few weeks after Halloween. Thora Birch plays a chick on a wrestling team who gets stalked and slaughtered on a train from hell. Think HOSTEL meets UNDER SIEGE 2: DARK TERRITORY. Actually, put it that way, this sounds kinda awesome. Let's see if it's worth the wait.
The Goods:
BLOOD: THE LAST VAMPIRE - October 20th
I liked this movie, but would have liked it more if all the blood splatter wasn't CGI. Seriously, I don't think they dropped more than a cup of blood during the filming of this movie, but rather dropped 50 gallons of the red stuff in post-production--completely computer generated. But if you're into school girls with swords, action that doesn't let up, and silly acting, then this movie may be for you. And maybe all that fake blood is easier to take on the small screen.

DARK COUNTRY - October 6th
Thomas Jane is the f*cking man! I don't need to know jack shit about this movie except that Jane not only stars in the motherf*cker, but directed it as well. Hells yeah. And, in truth, I don't really know jack shit about this movie, so I suppose that works out well in my favor. Looks like they're burrying some shit in the desert (or the country) at night. Whatever. It's Thomas Jane, people!
The Goods:
WILLIAM CASTLE FILM COLLECTION –October 20th– Because it's the Godfather of horror, you gotta give the guy some love!
TALES FROM THE CRYPTKEEPER: SEASON 1 – October 6th – Because this show was surprisingly creepy, even though it was a cartoon aimed at kids.
SUMMER'S MOON - November 10th – Because it's obviously not trying to bank off of TWILIGHT or NEW MOON...
