New UNIVERSAL SOLDIER 3 pics!
Straight from the Facebook page of JCVD himself come these 4 new shots from UNIVERSAL SOLDIER: A NEW BEGINNING. The flick just had its premiere at Fantastic Fest, to mixed reviews. Let's hope we all get a chance to see it sometime in 2010.
The militant Islamist Chechen Basayev abducts the children of the President and takes control of Chernobyl, threatening to unleash a radioactive cloud unless his demands are met. Luc Deveraux (Van Damme), now an Universal Soldier again, joins a new team of UniSols secretly held in deep storage. Their mission: retake Chernobyl and disable explosives that will unleash radioactive clouds. Luc discovers that one of the reactivated Universal Soldiers is a clone of his old, homicidal Sergeant, Andrew Scott (Lundgren). He also must face the NGU, the next generation in the UniSol biotechnology.

HITMAN 2 shooting next year?

In an interview with GameDaily, producer Adrian Askarieh had the following to say about the status of HITMAN 2: "We'll probably do Hitman sometime middle of next year, but right now we're just waiting for the script to come in." He goes on to say that Timothy Olyphant is the desired choice to take on the role of "Agent 47" once again, but they haven't really gotten around to discussing things with him yet. Furthermore, Olyphant is now on a t.v. show called "Lawman", which obviously complicates things.
HITMAN made almost $100 million globally when it came out in 2007, with another $27 million from DVD sales in the U.S. alone. For a movie made for under $20 million, that's pretty damn good. No wonder they want to continue the franchise... Will they get Olga Kurylenko to return? Let's hope so...

KANE & LYNCH close
In addition to HITMAN 2, producer Adrian Askarieh has something else asskicking brewing: the film adaptation of the popular game KANE & LYNCH. The flick already has a director - Simon Crane - and a big-time star - Bruce Willis - attached. Askarieh talked about where the project currently stands:
"The script has been incredibly well-received around town. After Bruce Willis read it, he called it one of the best action scripts he's ever read, and Bruce is an expert in terms of action scripts because he's read everything over the last 20 years."
Askarieh goes on to mention that they're currently looking to shoot in South America, Europe and possibly Louisiana, but nothing has been locked down yet. Head on over to

A-TEAM BTS video!
Entertainment Tonight got to chill out on the set of THE A-TEAM and provided us with the first ever footage from the Joe Carnahan flick, currently shooting in British Columbia.
While as a whole it's really not much, all I can say is - get a load of Quentin "Rampage" Jackson as B.A. Baracus! Man sounds just like Mr. T himself! I was kind of curious about the casting at first - since it's undoubtedly the character that will come under the most scrutiny - but it looks like Jackson nails it. In fact, everyone looks pretty damn good (Jessica Biel obviously included), although unfortunately we don't get a peek at Liam Neeson as Hannibal Smith. Only a matter of time though. Take a look at the (all too brief) footage below.

TOURNAMENT fight scene!
We've got you a brand-new clip from the new action flick THE TOURNAMENT, which opened Screamfest a couple weeks ago. It looks like good old fashioned action though, featuring an awesome cast including Ving Rhames, Robert Carlyle, Kelly Hu and ACTION R.U. favorite Scott Adkins. The clip features a pretty nifty fight sequence between Hu and Adkins, but be warned because it ends with a
