Rob Zombie is using his good ol' Twitter account to tease his fans about his upcoming 'director's cut' of HALLOWEEN 2 that will be hitting DVD by the end of the year.

In true Twitter fashion, Zombies simply teases us with Just finished doing the director's commentary for the DVD of Halloween 2. Love the new cut. This is the real film.

The new cut? Does that mean, a better cut? A better version? A version that won't have fans foaming at the mouth? Seems like most either loved or hated Zombie's sequel, which begs to question whether the new cut will turn those who didn't like the theaterical version to the side of liking it.

Lots of folks prefer his version of HALLOWEEN to the theatrical cut, so I'm thinking that yes, yes it will! No official date has been set yet, but keep your eye on his TWITTER for more updates, or right here as we'll bring you the official word as we hear it!

Spilled Blood: I still can't get over the fact that THE BLOB will be Rob Zombie's next directorial effort.

Still a fan
I've said it before and I'll say it again--I think Rob Zombie is a top-notch director and I look forward to anything he puts out, including this new cut of H2. Maybe for his next movie he can write a scene in which a serial killer stabs the hell out of the inventor of Tweet. "Tweeting"...God, I hate that term like a Jew hates holocaust jokes.

right... that's the real film rob, so the one that you asked us to pay ten bucks for in the theaters was-- what? a trailer?

fucking sad what he's come to.

I didn't like H2, but as a die hard Halloween fan, I'll still make this purchase and hope the dvd turns out better!
