Judging by Breck Eisner’s stand out episode of “Fear Itself” last year, and our boy Joel Robertson's glowing review of his new flick, the man’s reworking of George A. Romero’s 1973 lost classic THE CRAZIES looks pretty damn badass.
But don’t take my word for it, cull it yourself from the nice shot of Radha Mitchell fixing to get a mouth-load of only god knows. Piggybacking on the trailer we’ve seen, Radha looks clung to piss-filthy gurney as her bat-shit psychotic captor is out spreading more disease than a Kardashian.
Remember, the movie is about the inhabitants of a small Iowa town sudden;y plagued by insanity and then death after a mysterious toxin contaminates their water supply.
Also starring Timothy Olyphant, Joe Anderson, Danielle Panabaker, Christie Lynn Smith, Brett Rickaby, Preston Bailey and John Aylward, Eisener’s retelling of THE CRAZIES comes about on February 26, 2010.
Spilled Blood: For those who saw Danielle Panabaker as Tick in the HBO series "Empire Falls" has to admit she sure has grown up.
