School gets an F
Oct. 30, 2009
Director Johannes Roberts dropped us a line today regarding his latest dip into horror, one that has an awesome premise and even a few new images from the flick to boot.
It's called F, and it basically goes like this (straight from the director's mouth): It is about a group of teachers trapped in a school by a group of murderous hooded kids. It focuses on a burnt out alcoholic teacher who has to try and save his daughter Kate when the school comes under attacked by a group of hooded kids after hours. Think Assault on Precinct 13 meets Ils. The hoods themselves are played by Parkour specialists - The stuff they do is crazy, darting around up in the rafters in the dark amongst the empty classrooms and corridors - it's really freaky stuff.
Sounds freaky! And judging from these new pics, it looks damn freaky too! Nothing hits home like some good ol' classroom horror, and while crazy shite happens in classrooms everyday, this here seems to be taking it one step further. Not only that, but ever been on campus at night? It's kinda creepy. Plus, something tells me the hooded figures are more than just delinquent kids, but something... more.
Roberts is currently working on the sound in post-production, but is nearing completion within the next few weeks. No word on when the trailer will hit or the film's release date, though it will be released the UK before North America.
F stars David Schofield, Eliza Bennett, Emma Cleasby, Ruth Gemmell, Juliet Aubrey, and Roxanne Mckee. Keep it here for more on F as we hear it (that trailer should be coming soon!), and enjoy the new pics below!
Spilled Blood: Johannes Roberts also directed HELLBREEDER, DARKHUNTERS, and FOREST OF THE DAMNED.
