Choose poster/plot

It’s almost been a full year since our in-house gangsta' Eric Walkuski updated you all on a serial killer flick starring Katheryn Winnick called CHOOSE. Well, some cool new shit for the film has rolled in, namely a J-horror inspired poster, an in-depth synopsis, and some (personally) exciting bit of cast briefing.
Co-written and directed by longtime effects man Robert Legato (TITANIC, SHUTTER ISLAND), CHOOSE sees:
The peace and tranquility of an idyllic, suburban city become suddenly broken. Behind the picket fence and manicured lawn, teenage Sara awakens startled as a rush of cold air gently pushes her bedroom door open. Across the hall her parent's bedroom door lies ajar. She calls for her parents but gets no response. She enters their bedroom and as her eyes adjust to the darkness she sees her parents on the bed hog-tied and gagged. Before she can react she is grabbed roughly by the hair and slammed against the wall. "Do what I say or you die" Scar Lip tells her.
He turns over an expertly crafted hourglass filled with blood and coolly instructs her, "I'm going to kill your mother or your father. You have sixty seconds to decide which one." She begs and pleads with him, but all Scar Lip tells her is that if she doesn't choose then both parents die. And this is just the opening sequence of the chilling horror Choose.
First off, that’s a sick little premise. Secondly, a villain actually credited as Scar Lip? Wow.
Currently in post-production, CHOOSE boasts impressive support from my man Bruce Dern, Kevin Pollack, Nicholas Tucci, Richard Short, Talia Balsam, Kaye Nauta, Adrian Martinez, Billy Kay, Alexi Wasser, Annalaina Marks, Cady Huffman and Klavida Ramnareine.
The flick may still release sometime in 2009, but 2010 is more likely.
