Paramount has Jitters
Oct. 30, 2009
So The Hollywood Reporter has broken some mid-late Friday news about Paramount looking to cash in on a broad, family creep-fest entitled JITTERS.
After serving time as a DreamWorks exec, Mark Haimes has sold a second screenplay in a little over half-a-years time (he also wrote ELEVATOR MAN, which sold to Summit Entertainment and looks to see Fredrik Bond in the director’s chair).
JITTERS, however: a creepy family outing in the ‘80s, akin to GREMLINS or something similar, looks to commence before Haimes officially commits to adapt SOMEONE IN THE DARK, which we recently relayed got picked up by DreamWorks.
Haimes will also produce JITTERS, a role his presided in on flicks like COLLATERAL & RED EYE.

Spilled Blood: The next line of order for Haimes is to secure RED EYE starlet Rachel McAdams.
