ZMD trailer hits!
Nov. 3, 2009
If ZOMBIELAND struck the zombie-loving chord in you that you simply can't shake, a chord that requires more blood, fun, and zombies to satisfy, then you're in luck. The new trailer for ZMD: ZOMBIES OF MASS DESTRUCTION hit today, and it's looking like one hell of a good time!
ZMD is the latest film to be announced in the line-up for After Dark Films' Horrorfest 4: "8 Films To Die For."For the past four years, After Dark have released 8 films to scare the pants off you for one week in theaters in January, then on DVD a few months later. Usually there's one or two that are decent. This year looks like there may be more than that (other films include LAKE MUNDO, DREAD, THE GRAVES, and HIDDEN). And ZMD looks like it may be one of the best!
ZMD goes a little bit like this: Port Gamble, Washington is being overrun with brain eaters, and the people seem powerless to stave them off. A rag tag band of rebels led by Frida (Janette Armand), an Iranian college student suspected of being an Iraqi terrorist, and Tom (Doug Fahl), a gay business man who has returned to town with his partner to come out to his mother, tries to turn the tide and push the invading hoards of undead back.
That synopsis does the film no justice. Just check out the trailer below and prepare to be impressed. Think all the classic zombie movies wrapped into one "political zomedy" and you what ZMD looks and feels like. Will it be as kick-ass as ZOMBIELAND? We can only hope...
