True Blood sheriff back?

It must be a slow news day when we’re giving you trivial tidbits regarding 3rd season casting news on the much celebrated HBO series “True Blood.” But that’s exactly what’s about to go down, as we’ve gotten word that Vampire Sheriff Godric (Allan Hyde) from the second season of the show may make a return to the ghoul-filled Louisiana town.
According to E!, writers of the hit vampire show are considering bringing back the uber-sensitive, over-thinking bloodsucker who was last seen lit ablaze atop a Houston skyscraper. Word is they plan on exploring Godric's 1,000-year history with Eric though flashbacks.
Which is just fine with me.
Of course, I only know little of the show, so fan-boys and girls please pardon the curbed enthusiasm (see how I threw in a reference to an HBO show I do dig?!?)
