Activity Name Change

UPDATE: The guys over at Dread Central got word from WALKING DISTANCE producer James LaMarr that the title EXPERIMENTAL ACTIVITY will only apply to the foreign market. The film will still stick with WALKING DISTANCE domestically.
I'm all for the lesser known horror flicks doing whatever they can to get out there... but this is just sad. You see that title above doesn't mean PARANORMAL ACTIVITY is changing it's name. Oh no. Actually another film is changing it's name because of PARANORMAL ACTIVITY! Check it.
The Hollywood Reporter are passing along word that Mel House's WALKING DISTANCE is undergoing a name change to EXPERIMENTAL ACTIVITY. Oh man that's just dirty... How many people are going to mistake EXPERIMENTAL for a sequel to PARANORMAL or something similar? Lots I'm sure. And that's just not cool. Now why would the flim, which is about a small town that is subject to a government medical experiment, undergo such a cheesy name change? Well because it features PARANORMAL star Katie Featherston (below) of course! Makes sense.
Well not really but we'll go with it. EXPERIMENTAL ACTIVITY also stars Denton Blane Everett, Reggie Bannister, Adrienne King, Glenn Morshower, Kathy Lamkin and Debbie Rochon. No telling when EXPERIMENTAL will become available but keep it here for updates as we hear them.
