Aykroyd joins Hare
Nov. 5, 2009
I can only imagine the American Film Market to be something like a giant circus of sorts, with so much shit going on and flying every which way that if you could surivive it, then you'll be in for a good time. If not, it'll fee like an elephant trampling you down, with creepy clowns jumping on your head with giant clown shoes before you can even get up.
What the hell? Oh yeah. AFM. The boys at B-D scored some interesting details regarding John Landis' BURKE AND HARE. Apparently the great Dan Aykroyd has signed on to star in the flick, alongside Simon Pegg, David Tennant, and Bill Nighy.
I can't even remember the last movie I saw Aykroyd in, but lord knows the man needs a come back--maybe this is it? Maybe he'll rock this role like Bill Murray rocked ZOMBIELAND, thus inching us that much closer to another GHOSTBUSTERS movie. Well, we can dream, right?
BURKE AND HARE goes like this: two 19th century graverobbers find a lucrative business providing cadavers for an Edinburgh medical school.
Landis, Aykroyd, Pegg, and Nighy. This movie's gonna rock! Stick around for official confirmation on this announcement soon. In the meantime, check out the full scoop HERE.
Spilled Blood: Looks like Aykroyd was in WAR, INC. and I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU CHUCK AND LARRY. Meh....
