Land of Canaan art
Nov. 5, 2009
We got some new sales art for the spooky horror flick LAND OF CANAAN, which stars Edward Furlong, Juliet Landau, and Tara Reid. Apparently based on the "true story of murder and hauntings in the Nevada town of Goldfield", the flick is - like every movie currently in existence - at AFM selling itself like a hooker. Not that there's anything wrong with that!
After the Goldfield hotel was built over an abandoned goldmine in 1908, the former owner George Winfield gets a young prostitute, Elizabeth pregnant, he chains her up in an old room, to a radiator. When she gives birth, the baby is thrown down an old mine shaft, and Elizabeth was left there to die. Cut to present, a group of friends, sneak into the abandoned hotel, to see if they can get any footage of any 'hauntings'. But they start getting murdered one by one. Is the ghost of Elizabeth seeking revenge, or is someone taking a prank too far?
LAND OF CANAAN was written by Reginald La France & Mike McCartney and Michael Sweeney and directed by La France. It has a (tentative) August 2010 release planned...
Thanks to "Joey" for the heads up!
Spilled Blood: Seems like Tara Reid is doing a lot of horror nowadays...
