This movie was a weird watch for me...the technique of mixing real footage with the re0enacted stuff kept taking me out of the moment, but something happened...I left the theater and bits and pieces kept sticking with...
This movie was a weird watch for me...the technique of mixing real footage with the re0enacted stuff kept taking me out of the moment, but something happened...I left the theater and bits and pieces kept sticking with me. I keep going back to certain points in the film in my mind. I even found myself shedding a tear during this flick...that doesn't happen often. I didn't find the movie particularly frightening, but it just kept kind of sucking me in and here I am a couple days removed from having seen it and I can't stop thinking about it. That's always the mark of a good movie.

I saw it on Sat. I usually agree with the Arrow man 99% of the time. Yet only seem to post when I hit that rare 1%. And here I am again.

3 and 1/2 stars Arrow?? Really??? I mean it was Ok and I dug the...

3 and 1/2 stars Arrow?? Really??? I mean it was Ok and I dug the style of the whole split screen "real" video/fake movie stuff and it had some creepy moments but it never went as far as it could have or should have. It left some cool ideas just hanging in the wind. It does not help that all the TV adds showed the creepiest parts. Overall it was OK but I wish I watched Fire in the Sky again instead.

I chose to see Men Who Stare At Goats instead and really, really wish I would have gone with Fourth Kind. will hopefully catch it this week sometime.
