French 7 Days trailer

Here's an interesting-looking French film, which looks a little like the upcoming TORTURED, but you know, with an arty French twist. It's called 7 DAYS (or THE 7 DAYS OF RETALIATION), and seems more of a serious drama than your typical horror film; but it also contains some nasty torture and gore, so I figured I'd give it a whirl. Take a look and let's know what you think! (It's in French, but you really don't need subtitles to know what's going on...)
The film is about a surgeon whose daughter is raped and killed by a man he later calls "The Monster. The day the murderer appears in Court, the surgeon, kidnaps "The Monster" and later sends the police a brief message stating that the rapist and murderer of his daughter was going to be tortured for 7 days and then executed. Once this task accomplished, he will give himself up.
Directed by Daniel Grou, and based on the novel by Patrick Senecal, 7 DAYS stars Remy Girard, Martin Dubreuil, Claude Legault, and Fanny Mallette. It's currently being shopped around AFM, but will most likely open in 2010.
Spilled Blood: I like when art house fare can double as extreme horror. (Although ANTI CHRIST sure didn't do the trick.)
