Despite Brad Miska's (of BD), I didn't think there was much of anything quite scary, creepy or eerie in the whole movie, but nonetheless, I really dug the movie. I think if people are scared of sudden banging noises, images flashing etc. they haven't seen enough horror, or I'm just THAT awesome (I lean more toward the latter, FYI).

I also seem to be in the minority of thinking (I've not seen) the original ending would've been worse than the theatrical version, I thought the face morph was really well done, subtle and thus rather creeped me out for a bit.

I've seen this flick three times now (theatrical version twice, original version once) and it just get's better with each viewing! can't wait for the blu-ray!

what bugs me is when people write off negative opinions of a film as "hating it to be cool" or "to be different". People are entitled to their opinions.

PARANORMAL was an awesome flick and it deserves the praise it gets... but I was just expecting more. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time because the hype, not because the actual movie. And the 'scares' never p...
PARANORMAL was an awesome flick and it deserves the praise it gets... but I was just expecting more. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time because the hype, not because the actual movie. And the 'scares' never paid off like I expected so I left with a very 'Ehh' opinion.

Like I said though, still an awesome flick just hurt a little by the hype.

I thought it was great. I saw the original ending and loved it. I'm glad I didn't see the CGI crap I heard about. While my wife and I was watching the film she was like fuck that I can watch this shit. But then I told...

It was just so real feeling and not Hollywood. Original!!! Something people forget about in movies today.

I loved the Blair Witch. If you loved the Blair Witch, I'm guessing you loved PA. PA was awesome. Blair Witch was just a tiny bit better (better ending).

Saw it last year - with the original ending - and thought it was creepy and engaging.. But I STILL could not have imagined all the praise and love it's receiving at the moment... God bless, though.
