Another Wolfman poster

Mere hours ago we shared with you all an elegant yet chilling new poster for Joe Johnston’s lycanthropic horror tale, THE WOLFMAN. Well, feast your eyes on yet another fresh take (via AICN), this time showing the man-beast in question, Mr. Benicio Del Toro (whose absence in the prior I’ve seen peeps lamenting all throughout the web).

But both posters that have broken today are without question sleek, simple, yet effectively tinged with menace just under the surface. If I had to choose (and I don’t know why I would), I’d probably go with the first one. Call me crazy, I’d rather leer at Emily Blunt in distress over an evil-eyed hirsute beast.

Boasting the envelope pushing makeup/effects work of multiple Oscar winner Rick Baker, as well as an impressive ensemble (Tony Hopkins, Hugo Weaving, Geraldine Chapin, etc.) – the new age WOLFMAN looks to terrorize theaters February 12, 2010.
