Pfeiffer a Vamp?

Back at the beginning of November we told you about a little vampire comedy called VAMP. Well today there's a name being thrown around in the same sentence as VAMP: Michelle Pfeiffer.

Say what? The Film Experience blog recently chatted it up with director Amy Heckerling and when VAMP came up in the conversation Heckerling "clasped her hands together in supplication and said 'I hope I get Pfeiffer for it.'" I would take this 'news' with a grain of salt. Nothing official has even come close and my gut tells me Heckerling was just joking around. But what if she wasn't? Heckerling did work with the actress on I COULD NEVER BE YOUR WOMAN... Would you guys want to see Pfeiffer tackle the world of horror/comedy?

VAMP already has Krysten Ritter (below) pegged to star with a start date penciled in for this Spring. The film follows two young female vampires who live the good life in New York until love enters the picture and each has to make a choice that will jeopardize their immortality. We'll be keeping an eye open to see what comes of this. As always be sure to keep it here for updates.
