Jason, 'Busters & True Blood
It's been a while since I hit you all with some genre collectibles news and it just so happens there's been a few new releases this past week so I figured it was time for an update!
First up we've got a new Jason Voorhees figure heading our way from Sideshow Collectibles. Unfortunately we know absolutely nothing about this figure aside from that shot above. A teaser if you've ever seen one huh? Sideshow decided to be all mysterious and release that shot above this past week to tease us all on what's to come. As you can see Jason seems to be sporting an ax as well as his trusty machete for this go around. We'll keep our eyes open for some solid details on this mysterious Jason Voorhees figure so be sure to keep it here for that.
Next up we've got a brand new group of GHOSTBUSTERS MiniMates from Diamond Select and the Art Asylum! I'll snag the description straight from Entertainment Earth: The top-selling Ghostbusters Minimate line continues with this latest 4-pack of Ghostbusters, associates and menaces! This set includes the marshmallow-covered Gooey Egon and Gooey Winston from the original film as well as the sequel's Janine Melnitz and EPA lawyer Walter Peck! 'Bill' will stand at 6.75'' while 'Sookie' stands at 6.125'' with 'Eric' standing at 7.25". All three collectibles will sell for $70 each and will be available July 21, 2010. These bad boys are also manufactured to order so if you're digging on them be sure to snatch them up as soon as they become available. The 'Merlotte' sign will also be released on July 21 but that one will span 16'' wide at a price of $90.
