Back in July, I told you about the plans for a feature film based on the 70s t.v. show UFO. I think we had all pretty much forgotten about that, but it seems as though this project is still moving onward and upward.

Another existence I had forgotten about - Joshua Jackson - has joined the picture; he'll portray Paul Foster, a test pilot who joins S.H.A.D.O. (Supreme Headquarters Alien Defense Organization), a covert org built under a Hollywood studio that defends Earth against a race of aliens who have been abducting humans and using the body parts.

Mattew Graztner - a visual effects supervisor on flicks like IRON MAN and HANCOCK - will be helming the flick, based on a script by Ryan Gaudet and Joseph Kanarek. Production is expected to begin Spring 2010.

Spilled Blood: Jackson is relevant again thanks to the sci-fi show "Fringe", which co-stars cute Aussie Anna Torv (pictured above).
