Less then 24 hours ago we showed you all a nifty featurette for John Hillcoat's THE ROAD and now we've got a poster for the flick sporting a very positive critique:

"THE ROAD carries the fire of our shared humanity and lets it burn bright and true. Viggo Mortensen is astounding! Robert Duvall is superb and Charlize Theron captures the power of Cormac McCarthy's words. A Triumph!"

Well damn... So do you think it's any good? As the poster above states, that quote comes from Rolling Stone's movie man Peter Travers. THE ROAD, based on McCarthy's novel is a post-apocalyptic tale of a man and his son trying to survive by any means possible. It stars Mortensen, Duvall, Theron (below), Kodi Smit-McPhee, Guy Pearce, Molly Parker, and Garret Dillahunt. I just rewatched MEMENTO the other day and decided Pearce is the man, so needless to see I'm really looking forward to seeing what he does in THE ROAD. My money's on Pearce nailing that shite!

The film opens everywhere tomorrow, November 25th. Keep a lookout for The Arrow's review, which should be dropping soon!
