Mother's Day BTS Vid

Now I've made it no secret that I'm not a huge fan of Darren Lynn Bousman. Don't get me wrong... I think the guy is super-talented but aside from SAW II I haven't really dug any of his other work. But dare I say I'm actually really looking forward to MOTHER'S DAY? Maybe it's because Bousman is supposedly going another direction with MOTHER'S DAY, straying away from the 'violent horror' and going more along the lines of real terror. Whatever the case it's very intriguing...
And if you happen to be looking forward to MOTHER'S DAY as well then today you're in for a treat! Over at Moviefone a brand new behind the scenes video from MOTHER'S DAY was just released! Why waste any more time? Check that shite out below!
The lengthly synopsis for MOTHER'S DAY reads:
In this highly-anticipated psychological horror thriller from renowned director Darren Lynn Bousman (SAW II, III, and IV) and producer Brett Ratner, two mothers will give the holiday terrifying new meaning as they battle to protect what is dearest to them.
After a bank robbery gone wrong, three brothers head for home, hoping their MOTHER can provide them with a getaway. The youngest brother, JOHNNY, has been shot and their back-stabbing former partner has gotten away with all the cash.
But when the brothers get home, they find that all their stuff is gone and Mother is nowhere to be found: she lost the house months ago in a foreclosure. The new owners, BETH and DANIEL SOHAPI and their guests, gathered for an ill-timed birthday party, become the brothers' unwitting hostages.
Not long after, Mother arrives, along with the boys' sister LYDIA, and it soon becomes clear that Mother will do absolutely anything to protect her children. In one terrifying evening, she brilliantly takes control of the situation and masterminds her sons' escape from the law.
Sides will be taken, secrets revealed, and sins punished as the hostages struggle to make it through the night alive.
With an iconic new villainess, non-stop action, and suspense that builds to a truly chilling twist, MOTHER'S DAY is sure to become the next big holiday-themed genre franchise.
MOTHER'S DAY stars Rebecca De Mornay, Jaime King, Patrick Flueger, Warren Kole, Matt O'Leary, Deborah Ann Woll, Briana Evigan (below), Frank Grillo, Lyriq Bent, Lisa Marcos, Tony Nappo, Jessie Rusu, Shawn Ashmore, J. LaRose and Alexa Vega. The film recently wrapped production and is set for a May 2010 release.
