New Case 39 pics/poster

Ah, CASE 39 – the Houdini of horror flicks! You know how to tell when a movie is really on the back burner? When the director of the film casts, shoots, edits, sells and distributes an entire other picture before the one in question finally sees release. And such is the case with Christian Alvart’s (PANDORUM) CASE 39, a horror/thriller starring Renee Zellweger and Bradley Cooper.

And now that we know (and have known for 2 months) that the flick looks to hit the U.S. January 1st, 2010 – we’ve just been treated with a slew of new pics from the film, as well as a French poster (which to be honest, is almost identical to its English counterpart we broke as an exclusive back in April).

Let’s run this sucker down again, shall we?

CASE 39 centers on an idealistic social worker who saves an abused 10-year-old girl from her parents only to discover that the girl is not as innocent as she thinks.

Aside from Zellweger and Cooper, Ian McShane, Jodelle Ferland, Kerry O’Malley, Adrian Lester, Callum Keith Rennie, Georgia Craig, Cynthia Stevenson, Cindy Sungu and Mary Black all play a role.
