Excl: Stoker's Drac's rises?
Dec. 15, 2005

Hey guys and living dead dolls! Here's a little exclusive for ya! Dracula is set to return in THE UN DEAD from a literate, Gothic, romantic and thrilling supernatural script by Ian Holt (Who's a Dracula scholar at that!) and Alex Gallant! The flick will be produced by AEI ("Ripley's Believe It Or Not," "MEG" and "Henry's List of Wrongs.") and Jan de Bont (Under his company Blue Tulip).
A little about the project: THE UN-DEAD is the official sequel to Bram Stoker's DRACULA. (As approved by Stoker's estate - the first film adaptation to be so approved since the 1931 Bela Lugosi/Tod Browning masterpiece). It is based on Stoker's book of the same name.
The story itself picks up 25 years after the events of the Dracula novel with Stoker's surviving original characters re-surfacing . Mina, Jonathan Harker, their son Quincey, Lord Holmwood, Dr. Seward and Professor Van Helsing are all about to face their greatest fear -- the evil they once thought dead and buried is yet undead.
The story will also re-introduce Inspector Cotford, a character who was in Stoker's earlier drafts, but was excised before publication and is NOT a sequel to Coppola's film, it's is the sequel to Bram Stoker's novel.
The project is currently out to directors! Looking good from my end, more blood on the film as we get it fed to us!

BRING IT!!!
