In the week leading up to Josh Wheadon's b-day, legions of Browncoats, aka SERENITY fans, are setting up over 35 screenings of the movie as a charity fundraiser. The money will all go to Joss Whedon's charity of choice, Equality Now. The organization is dedicated to ending violence and discrimination against women around the world.

You can check out all of the planned screenings here, but let me give a special shout out to the folks in Montreal who gave us the heads up. Their screening info is as follows:

Concordia's J.A. de Seve Cinema (LB-125, 1400 de Maisonneuve West)

Tickets $10.00, on sale May 27th till June 20th at Le Melange Magique (1928 St-Catherine West, Montreal 514-938-1458)

($15 at the door of the theatre)

So you get to support a great cause while checking out a great movie...sounds like a no brainer to moi!
