TCM2 DVD scoops!
Okay, this Fall for sure I'm going to be broke for sure. With a choice between buying textbooks for college, and kickass DVD releases and films, which would you choose?
DavisDVD and HorrorHound Magazine each got scoops on MGM Home Entertainment's special edition of TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2, set for release sometime in September. Details for the film are sketchy at the moment in terms of extras, but the disc will feature new interviews with cast and crew, including stars Bill Moseley and Tom Savini, along with deleted scenes and a new anamorphic widescreen transfer. Hopefully we get a couple commentaries and documentaries on the film, which if you've read 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Companion', shows just how cheap Cannon Films were with director Tobe Hooper and company, which ultimately showed on the screen.
On HorrorHound's side, the magazine got the first look at the cover art for the DVD, which is reminiscent of the teaser poster for the film in some ways. Nice! Click here to check out the entire cover art.
