Site reader Harrison Gantz just sent us some of his friend's on set pics and a clip from the currently in production I AM LEGEND (Hitting the screens on December 14 2007). In case you don't know, the flick is based on Richard Matheson's famous vamps rule the world novel, it stars Will "I can ruin a genre flick all by myself' Smith and is directed by Constantine chief Francis Lawrence. First off, I like Will Smith. And I like movies he's in (with the exception of both BAD BOYS films). So he's no hindrance for me.

What worries me about this movie is that I keep hearing about how it doesn't involve vampires - ONCE AGAIN.

Will there EVER be a movie based on I AM LEGEND that actually features vampires, and follows the book's apocalyptic and eerie a...

I just hope this movie doesn't suck (vampire puns aside). Even if it doesn't follow the book, a movie can be good...but please...PLEASE don't let this suck!!

If it starred anyone but an action hero in the lead, It could have been good!


But I can't see this classic horror working on an action level.

A scary film with will smith? Please. Like a scary film with Arnold Schwarzenegger! [end of days had the same problem] ...
