Bosworth lands After.Life
Jan. 15, 2007
Production Weekly scored some sweet swag over the weekend, with word that hottie Kate Bosworth is in the talks to star in the supernatural thriller known as AFTER.LIFE, from writer/director Agnieszka Wojtowicz-Vosloo (PÂTÉ). Bosworth could star in a black, plastic garbage bag, and I'd still be happy- so this is a bonus!
But if you expect a little bit more from this flick (and you should), here's a little quip about what it's all about: AFTER.LIFE chronicles a young woman in a transitional state between life and death who fights to avoid being buried alive by the funeral director who holds her fate in his hands.
Whoa. Nothing like being buried alive to ruin your day! Premise sounds interesting enough, and reminds me of a short story by Stephen King, about this dude who gets bitten by a snake and is paralyzed, and everyone thinks he's dead and he's lying there awake, awaiting for the doctors to begin doing an autopsy on him. It was a pretty dope story, and if they can create anything as intense as that here... well, we'll be in for a real treat!
Production is set to begin later this year, so stick around, as we'll keep ya posted on who else may jump on board this ride!
