As you all know; Thomas Jane booked out of PUNISHER 2 stating: "What I won't do is spend months of my life sweating over a movie that I just don't believe in." hence LG is presently looking for their new Frank Castle. Jonathan Hensleigh who helmed the original also skipped out on this round (he still has a hand in the script though) and for a while John Dahl (who would have been a perfect choice IMO) was rumored to be filling his clip as director. Well he isn't.

We just got whim from a source within the production that LEXI ALEXANDER (Hooligans - Labor Day) will in fact be directing the Punisher sequel this year in my hometown of Montreal, Canada. So there you have it; a dame will be doing the Punisher. Good thing? Bad thing? Talk amongst yourselves. I feel it might be a good move! Now question is, who would you see as the next Punisher? Gun out your picks below!

I PERSONALLY MISS THIS F*CKING GUY!

My Vote
I vote for Jeremy E. Jones. Yeah, I know none of you have heard of him, but I just worked two films in a row with the guy, and he's young but he comes off older than a Redwood tree, and beyond that, he's got the real toughs lacking in Hollywood leading men. The guy was a bouncer for 6 years, a gang member, and even an underground fighter. But, he also told me he's never fired a gun in his life....

it will be nice to see ANOTHER punisher film. and i do like to see the same actors in sequels. but, if youve read comics long enough, you learn that artists dont stay on a particular book forever. thusly, the character's look changes. im looking at the punisher, not the actor. now as far as thomas jane...is he really to that point in Hollywood where he is writing his own checks? mr. jane, you w...

(mutant chronicles is not your ticket to ride either...its going to tank.
Hey, maybe one of those sharks survived for Mr. carter to return to hunt!) stop being a twat and go back to punisher.

I hope that Thomas Jane rerises his role as the Punisher...I won't bother with the 2nd one if he doesn't.
