Remember Jonathan Tiersten? He played the tough as nails Ricky in the original "Sleepaway Camp". After that flick, he kind of dropped off the "acting map" and dove into the music game (his band's name is Bambi's Apartment).  The Arrow recently had the opportunity to toss a couple of questions his way and here's what he had to say in return:

1- What is your favorite horror flick?

The Exorcist.

2-  Horror fans know you as Ricky from the original "Sleepaway Camp" movie. How old were you when you played in that flick? How was the atmosphere on the set? Any interesting set stories you can share with us?

I was 17 when I did the movie. As far as interesting stories, there were plenty but I won't get into specifics. Let's just say that it was a real camp atmosphere and all the campers were New York City actors.

3- I heard a rumor that the killer's hands in the movie were yours. Is that true?

All I can say is "Look for the mole"...

4- Did you see the two "Sleepaway Camp" sequels? How did you feel about them? Were you pissed that you weren't in them?

I have never seen the sequels and no, I wasn't pissed. Acting is a tough business.

5- Now that "Sleepaway Camp 4" is an official go, do you know if your character is written into the script? Would you do the film if he was?

My character is written into the script and yes, I am doing the film.

6- You just got back from the "Sleepaway Camp" reunion at the Fango Con. Were you surprised at the immense fan turnout? How did it feel being with all these people again after all that time?

I was very surprised at the fan turnout. It was just fantastic to see everyone again and then to get a chance to perform for them later that night was just magical.

7- Music is actually your main love. You're part of a band called "Bambi's Apartment". What kind of music do you guys put out?

You can check out our website at bambisapartment.com; I think the best thing to say is that it is very honest music.

8- Apart from meeting chicks, what is it about making music that satisfies you on a personal level?

Really, in a nutshell, music is my entire life. I find it to be the one true thing that joins people. When it is good, it has no pretense, no conscience, it just is. It can be as simple as the sound of the ocean or a subway car exiting the station. If it moves you, it's music. If I can do that for others, and myself even occasionally…then far out!

9- I checked your name out on the Internet Movie Database and noticed that you had one other credit alongside "Sleepaway Camp", for a flick called "Seasonal Differences". What did you play in that film?

I don't even remember my character in "Seasonal Differences" but I think ABC has a website where you can look it up. I remember I got really drunk at the cast party.

10- Any thoughts on giving the acting fight a couple more rounds? We miss ya man...

Yes, I am going to give acting another try. How long the fight will last is anybody's guess.  I've grown pretty used to my hermitic existence. Let me just say, in closing, Felissa Rose is a magical kindred spirit and without her I wouldn't be talking to you or anyone else right now. So if I sometimes seem aloof in an interview or public situation ask her to translate. She speaks JT.
