Avatar featurette
![]()
I just came across this rather in-depth, four and a half minute long featurette for AVATAR which has way, way more new footage than I thought I’d see.
The cast and crew talk about working on the set, though the information itself isn’t anything particularly new. Everyone relays how in awe of the project they are and James Cameron talks about how he had this entire thing in his head for a decade but was just waiting for technology to catch up with his imagination. We’ve heard it before, but with all the excellent new footage, this is definitely worth watching all the way through.

Extra Tidbit: They should have done more than one "Avatar Day."

The only thing I'm afraid of is that this movie is not going to do as great as they thought, mainly due to advertising.
Only us moive fans are really getting the low down on this film, but I'm not seeing any billboards, tv spots, posters (mega posters at the theaters), viral, etc.

"A disabled Marine is given a second chance when his twin brother dies unexpectedly and only his DNA can control the avatar needed for a mission of utmost importance, blah blah blah."
Seriously, it's not like we know Bruce Willis is a ghost before...

Seriously, it's not like we know Bruce Willis is a ghost before the movie has even been released, thereby making it pointless to even go see it. But whatever, to each his own.
