Babylon A.D. teaser

This summer’s futuristic action-thriller BABYLON A.D. is starting to get some marketing promotion… in Europe.

The European poster has been unleashed, with a tone that (like most sci-fi dystopian futures) owes a debt to BLADE RUNNER. Or at least Times Square. Also, a brief teaser clip introduced by director Mathieu Kassovitz is now online at Allocine. Je ne comprends pas le français,, but the footage fortunately doesn’t require being multilingual. Looks respectable and a bit more epic than I expected, even if the tone is quite similar to CHILDREN OF MEN mixed with, I dunno, let’s say Albert Pyun’s NEMESIS.
