I haven't been following the Sundance schedule as closely as I should be and, as such, I just found out today about an interesting documentary titled ZOO. It's a documentary that follows the story of a 45-year-old Seattle man who died after engaging in a sex act with a horse. That's putting in nicely. More specifically the autopsy report listed a perforated colon, which he received after...you know. Even more shocking is that the farm on which this happened was a haven for this type of activity and the acts were frequently videotaped. ZOO follows the story of that man and the aftermath of the story, including talks with his family, the police, local reporters and others. There is no "horse sex" in the movie but there are interviews with two of the man's friends and one accomplice who drove him to the hospital after the incident. It will also focus on how Washington state didn't have any laws against beastiality prior to this incident, which allowed this particular farm to become infamous in chat rooms for this kind of stuff. THINKFilm is distributing the doc, but no word on when it will make its way out of Sundance. We'll have full coverage from Sundance (and hopefully of this movie as well), which begins tomorrow in Park City, Utah.

AWESOME!
This sounds like a blast! I love a good doc and this sounds like an interesting one to say the least. There needs to be more BEASTiality centered cinema I think, could become a new genre right up there with zombie flicks. At least it isn't a FUCKING REMAKE! |

What a story. To bad its true, but I don't blame the animal, I blame the person who in fact did something that made the horse do something. I heard that there are sites that they use animals as their sex partners ahahah fucking funny..and nasty..

Remember how Spinal Tap was a mockumentary - intentionally funny, but played off seriously? Well, this is gonna be the other way around. |

Do you honestly think there is such a thing as a misplaced comma? You are fucking dense, dude. Comma placement is generally subjective and the rules are rather loose. But seriously, I've never seen anyone ever get upset over comma placement, until now. Get a fucking job or something. Correcting a glaring spelling error in the TITLE of an article is something far different than where I put my commas in a post that no one will ever read or care about, cock. |

It's amazing that all you have to do these days is have a horse bang you to death and you'll get a movie made about you. sad but true. |

I can't believe I'm saying this... I live in the Seattle area, and beleive it or not, this really wasn't a big deal when the news broke. I was just as disgusted as anyone else, but also found it very funny. It kinda sounded like a Jackass stunt.
Again, I am not saying this is a good idea. I swear someone going to take this post the wrong way... On second thought, forget I said anything. |
