While I really enjoy Patton Oswalt telling jokes about Star Wars and depressing food and secret vagina rooms, it's nice to see him travel without his bag of geek gags for a darker role in BIG FAN.
The indie festival fave comes from the writer of THE WRESTLER and gives a glimpse into the world of disturbingly obsessive sports fanaticism. Oswalt plays an oddball Giants follower who stalks his favorite player one night, leading to a vicious beatdown from said player, and a subsequent heap of moral complications.

Besides playing the rodent chef of RATATOUILLE, Oswalt has done voice work for "Kim Possible", "Spongebob Squarepants", "Static Shock", two Batman cartoons and a couple of Grand Theft Auto games.

People keep saying the movie is spoiled, but it could just as easily be the beginning of the movie where he loses a bet or something, he does call int...
People keep saying the movie is spoiled, but it could just as easily be the beginning of the movie where he loses a bet or something, he does call into a sports talk show and has a rival called philadelphia phil. You dont know what happened so stop guessing like you saw something in the trailer everyone else didnt see.
