blu rays dvd News | As if! Clueless comes to Blu-ray in May
Paramount Home Entertainment will release the 1995 Amy Heckerling high school comedy Clueless on Blu-ray in May.
"Jane Austen might never have imagined that her 1816 novel Emma could be turned into a fresh and satirical look at ultra-rich teenagers in a Beverly Hills high school. Cher (Alicia Silverstone) and Dionne (Stacey Dash), both named after "great singers of the past that now do infomercials," are pampered upper-class girls who care less about getting good grades than wearing the right clothes and being as popular as possible."
Clueless was nominated by the American Film Institute for two of their lists: 100 Laughs and 100 Quotes ("As if!"). It won two MTV Movie Awards, both for Alicia Silverstone: Best Female Performance and Most Desirable Female.
Clueless comes to Blu-ray on May 1st.
