Twentieth Century Fox will be releasing the film THE SITTER on DVD and Blu-ray in the very near future. The movie arrived in theaters at the beginning of December and stars Jonah Hill, Ari Graynor and Sam Rockwell. I haven’t seen the movie myself, but it looks a bit like a crude version of Adventures in Babysitting with a male lead as opposed to the awesome Elisabeth Shue.

While I didn’t see a reported budget listed for the film, it did do moderately well at the box office, bringing in $26.8 million domestically. Not too shabby for a film that had a runtime of only 81 minutes.

You don’t really need to know the synopsis of the film, since I’m pretty sure you’ll either want to check it out after watching the trailer (below) or not, but here it is anyways: ”Noah is a suspended college student, living at home with his single mom, who is talked into babysitting the three, young, misfit kids next door. When he's invited that night to have sex by a girl, he decides to take the kids along on the attempted sexual rendezvous, and the night takes a wild and dangerous turn for the worse for which he is totally unprepared.”

THE SITTER, as previously mentioned, is on its way to DVD and Blu-ray. The "Totally Irresponsible Edition" will be arriving in stores early this year on March 20.
