WHAT'S IT ABOUT?
Dave Buznick (Sandler) has some major anger issues. Or does he? Forced to attend anger therapy sessions with a wacky specialist (Nicholson), it isn't long before Dave starts to wonder whether it is the doctor himself who is the crazed angry man.
IS IT A GOOD MOVIE?
Another very funny and sweet offering from the great Adam Sandler. This movie was extremely funny. I know a comedy has done its job when I laugh out loud many times throughout the film. In your case, you already know if youre the type of person who enjoys Adam Sandler films or not, so I wont go on and on about him, but if youve liked most of his films already, then this is a no-brainer...youll love it. The casting of Nicholson was also a stroke of genius, Jack is hilarious and does all those Jackisms that we all know and love. They both have great chemistry together and Nicholson even manages to give the film a bit of legitimacy in case some were willing to skip this movie on the basis that they dont like Sandler comedies on their own. The movie is simple enough in its plot, so you just have to sit back and enjoy Adam slowly going bonkers as the movie progresses.

To top that off, John Turturro is officially a comic genius. Hed already made me wet myself in THE BIG LEBOWSKI, O' BROTHER WHERE ART THOU and his hilarious turn as Sandlers butler in MR. DEEDS. He is, without a doubt, the funniest and best part about this movie, worth renting or buying based solely on his performance as Davids anger ally Chuck. Funny, funny stuff here folks, pure comic gold! There are also about a dozen other cameos and bit parts in the film thatll crack you up. I can think of no real reason not to suggest this comedy, so Ill make this review short and sweet. I liked it, I laughed and when I was done laughing...I laughed some more. Rent it!
THE EXTRAS
The fun starts with an audio commentary by Sandler and director Peter Segal. Pete and Adam have a fun time together, talk very casually and spontaneously crack jokes. Nice fun commentary. The Do You Have Anger Problems? Game feature consists of many of the cast members asking you multiple choice type anger questions to test your anger level. Im pretty impatient so these bore me and they arent particularly funny either. There are also 4 deleted scenes, three of which arent particularly funny, but you've gotta check out the John McEnroe one...its priceless!! I cant figure out why they cut this out.

Skull Session is an 18-minute behind-the-scenes featurette, with the usual cast & crew interviews. Nothing you havent seen before. My Buddy, Jack is a very short featurette which basically has everyone gushing over the great Jack Nicholson...and rightfully so! Five minutes of gag reels are also on the disc...all very funny and worth the watch. A ton of trailers round out the extras.
FINAL DIAGNOSIS
A laugh-out-loud comedy that is sure to please everyone. This movie might even convert some anti-Sandler types. The extras are adequate enough and the movie even holds up after a second viewing. Buy it, itll make a great addition to your DVD collection.
