WHAT'S IT ABOUT?
An aquarium cleaner ruins the aquarium of a male gigolo that he is house sitting for. Desperate to repair the damage, he tries his luck at being a male whore to make money.
IS IT A GOOD MOVIE?
When it comes to Rob Schneider and Happy Madison productions, you know what youre getting yourself into; mindless, childish humor with lame characters and an atrocious plot. I dont expect much, and therefore, Im never disappointed.

Deuce is no exception. Its not funny. It has maybe two moments that inspired a chuckle, but other than that, I felt like Id heard all of the jokes before. Obviously, the most enjoyable parts of the film are with him and whatever woman hes fixed up with. This is the selling point of the film, but it was completely abandoned for a love story thats neither funny nor interesting.

I dont know if there actually was a script or the cast and crew just got together and had people shout ideas out at them while they filmed. Either way, when you cast Rob in your movie, people are going to know youve abandoned all hope of having an actual story in your film. Despite that, the cast and crew tried. I just dont find Rob Schneider or Eddie Griffin funny at all and they didnt do anything funny or abnormal in this film to make me change my mind. Even with their typical, non-funny characters, the worst part of the film was William Forsythes detective character. He was annoying, dry, and childish. So much so that he managed to separate himself from the rest of the movie, and thats saying a lot.

The best part of the film was Amy Poehler, but even she got old after the gag was done. I would say that was the biggest problem; the jokes ran on too long. They could have made it funnier by inserting many different women and a quick comedic event with each of them. Instead, they only had a few and they all had reoccurring roles. Each brought something different to the movie, but each overstayed their welcome.
THE EXTRAS
Making of Deuce (8:59): Standard fluff. And I cant believe that anyone would say that this movie was anything but offensive. Its almost that some of the actors realize the whole movie was a joke, and others thought it was something more.

Directors video diary (3:42): This is a video montage of extra stuff Mike Mitchell had filmed. Its set to music, so youre not going to get too much out of it. Its just a bunch of behind the scenes footage. I think the only people that would enjoy this would be the people that were involved with the filming of the movie.

Deleted scenes (11:06): None of these impressed me but I did get a kick out of the Deuce in training scene. More scenes like that wouldve improved the film. Other than that, others were a waste of time.

Fly on the set (11:58): Ive never actually seen anything like this before, but its a behind the scenes look at the filming of a handful of scenes. It was interesting and made you feel like you were actually there. I wouldve liked watching these with the option of a commentary or the default sound.

Easter Egg (1:48): If you click on the cell phone on the Bonus menu, you see a behind the scenes montage of the struggles they had getting the cat to do what they wanted.

There are also some Trailers.
FINAL DIAGNOSIS
Well, obviously, Deuce isnt my kind of movie. If youre over 16 and youre familiar with comedy, then I wouldnt touch this movie. If youre a youngin and you havent seen many funny movies, then maybe this one will be new to you.
