WHAT'S IT ABOUT?
The time has come for a 500 year prophecy to come true. Three strangers are brought together to fulfill their destiny when an evil wannabe dragon attacks Los Angeles. Together, they must prevent the evil beast from victory.
IS IT A GOOD MOVIE?
The first thing that comes to mind after watching this film is how in the hell did it get a theatrical release? I mean that with all seriousness. Iíve seen Youtube movies that had more production value and better special effects than this. This movie was bad on all levels, but Iím happy to say that it actually hits the point where it obtains the ďso bad, itís goodĒ status. Whether itís the dialogue, the horrible special effects or just the plot itself, I guarantee you will laugh out loud at some point.

One thing I did find interesting is that despite the title, you donít see a real ďdragonĒ until the last 10 minutes or so. The rest of the time, itís an evil dragon-like monster trying to swallow an orb to become a real dragon. So if youíre coming into this expecting to see a couple of dragons duking it out and wrecking havoc on mankind, youíll be disappointed. In fact, if you come in with any positive expectations, youíll be disappointed.

The best/worst part of this was the dialogue. There is a scene with the two leads on the beach and everything they said was cringe-worthy. It was some of the worst dialogue ever spoken and delivered so painfully that you almost felt sorry for the actors. The effects were also bad, with a permanent blurry outline around all of the CGI characters. If youíre going to be that lazy, then just show the actors in front of a blue screen and let the audience use their imagination.

I know Iím being really mean about the film, but it really was horrible. The shock of how bad this movie was actually stuck with me for a few days after watching it. I could have been easier on it had it been straight to DVD or a foreign release, but for a US theatrical release, this was unacceptable. With that said, if you need a cheesy movie for a drinking game or just to make fun of, then this might be for you.
THE EXTRAS
5000 Years in the Making (18:09): About half of this is full of premiere scenes and clips from the movie with text describing some details about the film. The rest is Hyung talking about the film, presumably in front of an audience. I think heís a little dramatic with his stories, but itís a decent featurette if you really liked the film.

There are also some Previews, Storyboard Comparisons and an Art Gallery
FINAL DIAGNOSIS
Unless youíre going into it with the intent to make fun of it with a bunch of friends, this movie is going to hurt you with how bad it is. I canít see any reason to add this one to your collection.
