First of all- what’s the deal with only having three terrorists on the plane? Why not give the hero some real baddies to fight with. Rather, each terrorist is generic, AND, they even give the hero Dominic Purcell as a sidekick. Purcell? Sidekick? Not only can Purcell act circles around Couture, and hold his own in a fight, but why- if you have him in the film, did they not at least make him the bad guy. Rather, we get some generic TV guy in that part- and if you at least expect a good mano-a-mano fight with Couture- you’re mistaken. The action is flat, poorly directed, and curiously absent for the most part- as if the director expected us to be intrigued by the hackneyed plot. Meanwhile, the prominently billed Vinnie Jones is killed within five minutes of the film starting. WEAK!
