WHAT'S IT ABOUT?
A hot DJ (Usher) saves the daughter (Emmanuelle Chriqui) of a mob boss (Chazz Palminteri). Now he’s been picked as her personal bodyguard. The story that follows would make Uwe Boll puke.
IS IT A GOOD MOVIE?
IN THE MIX represents the worst cinema has to offer. Whoever wrote the script used every cliche’ imaginable to the fullest extent and wrapped it up under the fake façade’ of R & B. On top of this, the film had a small budget and was shot in 25 days. Yeah, the studio really FELT that this was a good money maker alright. Let’s talk about some of the stereotypes. In Usher’s world, black people eat chicken and “ca-lahd greens” and Italian people kill at will, oh and don’t forget the white boy that acts more black than anybody. IN THE MIX is so below par that it’s painful. No wonder it received 2 out of 10 stars on IMDB.

This film lacks everything. There’s a lack of fun, entertainment, R & B, soul, love, sex, violence, plot, direction, story – I could go on forever! I’m trying to comprehend who this film is marketed towards and why anyone would want to waste their time making this not to mention watch it. Terrible! To Usher – Where’s Confessions Part 3 where you say you’re sorry for making this piece of shite.
THE EXTRAS
Deleted Scenes > This small collection of scenes show just how awful this film is. Horrid acting and scene compositions, not to mention dialogue worse than the Star Wars prequels.

25 Days and Not a Minute More > This brief EPK reveals the 25 day shoot but not why the film was made. The cast and crew seem to busy and tired to give up any information. I don’t blame them.

There is also a bunch of Trailers for films that hopefully no one will see.
FINAL DIAGNOSIS
A whole bunch of nada. If you thought the acting in the first three Star Wars was horrid, look no futher than IN THE MIX. This has got to be the worst film I’ve ever seen – it makes Ed Wood or Uwe Boll look like a genius. The film’s tagline, “Everyone wants a piece of his action” makes it worse. No one wants a piece of this action, oh and I’ll be expecting “Confessions Part 3”.

Props 2 > Anybody not involved with this film or that doesn’t watch this film. Tupac.

Final Diagnosis >> The AIDS of Hollywood. Don’t touch.
