I get that sexting is a popular theme for both debate and fun these days and trust me, if that's what this movie was about it might have been slightly better (I'll admit that watching a dude text random nude pics of Miley Cyrus is a plot that would have my full attention), but sadly this is PG-13 territory of the fluffiest kind. I had the misfortune of reviewing Miley's other dumb love story THE LAST SONG, but at least it had a story, not a good one mind you, but a story nonetheless. This is like watching two fifteen year old chicks text each other all day and then Facebook one another all night. Her tagline is "it's nice to love someone so much it hurts". Well let me tell you, this flick is so terrible it makes kidney stones look appealing.
LOL is something that never should have seen the light of day (twice) and for the love of Christ, I have no idea what lured Demi Moore to this atrocity (then again, she is into younger dudes. Can I get a "BURN" Kelso?). This flick might, and I do stress might, win over some of the same lost youths who feel TWILIGHT is the ultimate love story of our generation, but even then it's a long shot. I can see why there was zero marketing for this by LIONSGATE, if I were them I'd want to keep my distance as well. Guys, what the hell were you thinking?
The Cast of LOL: Everyone on set loves Miley Cyrus and Demi Moore feels like she's watching her kids. One dude actually said this film was the coolest thing he's ever done. He should be shot.
Like Mother, Like Daughter: The cast and crew talk about the special bond between moms and their girls and yes, if I have to say one positive thing about this film it's that the chemistry between Cyrus and Moore was actually believable...and Demi Moore is still smoking hot.
Lots of Love for Lisa Azuelos: This is the part where the cast and crew lie about how much they loved the French version of the film...sure you did guys, sure you did.
Previews: There are a handful of trailers that play before the feature.
