Eva Longoria Parker
And thatís in spite of decent cast. Aside from Corddry, you also get his Daily Show costar (and The Officeís own Andy) Ed Helms, Tenacious Dís Kyle Gass, Mad TVís Will Sasso and even an Upright Citizenís Brigade vet. Youíd think with talent like that the laughs would be easy and nonstop, but donít get your hopes up. The ridiculousness given the elementary school setting is humorous, but itís not clever, great or even consistent comedy. Some of it is good at first for shock value and cheap laughs, but watching adults curse and say awful things to children can only be funny for so long.
Honestly I dug the first half hour or so of LOWER LEARNING and saw potential for a very dark comedy about the pitfalls of the education system, but the movie slowly goes downhill the rest of the way before it peters out completely with a lame ending, showing the laughs at the beginning were probably just a fluke.
Deleted Scenes and Outtakes (26:04): These cut scenes see some of the weirder and more out there stuff, like Rob Corddry taking a bath in melted chocolate. Some of the smaller supporting characters, including an excised janitor, get more face time here.
Extra Tidbit: Guys can give me grief for this, but I donít understand what the big deal about Eva Longoria is. I walk by women ten times hotter than her on the street everyday. And have you seen her without makeup? Blech.
