Brett Ratner acquires Femme Fatales Comics title The Unknowns

Brett Ratner's Rat Entertainment has acquired the film rights to "The Unknowns" a new title from Femme Fatales Comics.

Ratner will only be producing on the film, and was very excited about the property, "We think 'The Unknowns' will be a great new comic book/action franchise." Obviously, there is no director as of yet, nor is there a writer lined up to adapt the series.

The story, "centers around Alexis Davenport, who while living a seemingly ordinary life discovers she was actually once the highly skilled and deadly leader of a mysterious team called The Unknowns and must learn the secret of why her memories were erased and by who." The comic was created by Mark A. Altman (DOA: DEAD OR ALIVE) and Steve Kriozere (NCIS).

The lovely scantily clad lady you see in the photo above is Monica Olsen. Ms. Olsen is who the character was modeled after. She had a bit part in THE HOT CHICK and loves playing NHL games on XBOX.

I'm excited for this movie. I know Monica Olsen personally, and she is a very intelligent actress/model. She knows 7 languages and is CEO of a huge skin care product line. I've been following this comic for a while now, and I really hope Ratner can make this a great movie.

The only good movies he has done was Red Dragon and the first 2 Rush Hour movies. Other than that he is a shitty director. On the other hand he did help produce Prison Break, so I do give him credit for that.
